Central Secure Key File Store

Protect Data & Identities that Matter

CSKeyFile logo

Central Secure Key File Store (CSKeyFile) provides a highly secure central repository for
storing original e-certificate files and their passwords.

Features Highlight of
Central Secure Key File Store

Mass e-Cert Import

Enables the import of large quantities of P12 files and PINs, simplifying the workload during initial implementation or annual renewal periods, thereby saving users time,
labor, and costs.

Auto-detect Cert Information

Application databases can be independently replicated across multiple servers, ensuring full support for high availability and disaster recovery.

Import & Retrieve Logging

Detailed information of all actions and processes will be automatically recorded and logged, allowing administrators to trace any abnormal retrieval actions by specific users.

PIN Verification

During critical processes, the system verifies the
accuracy of the entered PIN by accessing P12 files,
ensuring correctness.

High Security Storage

P12 File and Passcodes are encrypted by 2 different master keys to enforce the security and protection

Integrated with ETM & RIC

Administrator can finish all importation to all 3 systems by only one-step process via the auto-submission function during the importation that save time and effort and reduce the expose of password and important data

More About CSKeyFile

A secure central repository is used to store the original electronic certificate file (P12 file) and
its password. Keys and passwords are encrypted using 3DES encryption and
stored in two separate databases with two Master e-Certs.

3 types of database in CSKeyFile
CSKeyFile x ETM x RIC
  1. The administrator imports the P12 files and passcodes from their office.

  2. The P12 files and passcodes are encrypted and stored in the CSKeyFile Database.

  3. The system automatically transfers related information and data to both the ETM and RIC Databases. Administrators can easily export the data from these two databases afterward.

  4. The P12 files and passcodes are decrypted when the administrator needs to export the data from the CSKeyFile Database.

  5. After the administrator assists the user in inserting the P12 file into the user's token or smart card, the end-user can freely use their e-Certificate.

CSKeyFile flow

Efficacious & Easy & Secure

  • Provide a Secure Place for Storing P12 Files and Passcodes

  • Manage a large number of e-Certs and passcodes in an organized manner. For example, display the expiry dates of each e-Cert so that administrators can apply for a new e-Cert before the current one loses its efficacy.

  • Easily restore all e-Certs (including old and latest ones) for users who have lost their tokens, as administrators can find them all in the CSKeyFile system.
